My 5 Favourite Korean Daytime Moisturizers/Creams

Hey guys! We’re officially into summer (at risk of sounding old, where has this year gone?!), and I thought I’d share my favourite, light, daytime moisturizers. This is a frequent question that slides into my DMs so I hope this post is useful! For reference, I have normal skin, with more some oilier areas but also more dry patches as I get older. So normal-combination? Lets get right on into it.

* All items in this post were gifted by the companies. Of all the products I own these were chosen because, as stated in the title, they are my favourites amongst MANY and not because they were gifted.

Dr Jart Ceramidin Liquid Review

2018 has been my Dr Jart year. I bought my first skincare products from their awesome Sinsa store, and was hooked (review here of the Ceramidin Serum and Oil Balm). So when Style Korean asked which products from their store I’d like to try (for free in a PR package), I immediately inwardly yelled “Dr Jart Ceramidin ANYTHING!”. I went for the liquid toner because I’d had my eyes on this for forever, and here’s what I think after a month or so of use!

Tiam My Signature Red Vitamin C Serum: Review & Comparison

I adore the Tiam My Signature C Source Serum and what it does for my skin. It’s an absolute HG product for me. So when I saw that Tiam had released a second, different, RED version, I was hyped to try it. Tiam very kindly sent me a bottle (and, even more kindly, a second bottle after my first oxidized when I stupidly traveled with it in a hot suitcase) to try and compare to their original! So here are my thoughts after using the My Signature Red C Serum consistently for around 6 weeks.

New Favourite Sheet Masks…from a UK Brand?! Vitamasques Review.

(This post is sponsored by Vitamasques, meaning I received financial compensation. They were professional and respectful of my testing & honesty policies, and I felt very comfortable working with them. For more information about sponsored posts, drop me a message or check out my Disclaimers page.)

Straight up I’m gonna tell ya, I was skeptical about a British sheet mask brand. Would they get it right? Would the material be good? Quality essence? And how are the prices? I had a lot of questions. With a combination of my love for sheet masks, my resumed residence here in England, and a keen interest to see the influence of Korean beauty in the UK, I decided to give Vitamasques a try! Vitamasques was started as a way to bring Korean skincare innovation to the local market here in the UK, and this is what I found when I tested their masks.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Review

We all know there’s some controversy surrounding this brand right now, and whilst I don’t agree with a lot of the chaos I’m seeing, I agreed to receive this and numerous other products from Deciem Korea in PR ( for free- see my disclaimer for policies) before the drama unfolded, and I’m still happy to talk about them and do reviews. Mainly because this product has been so damn good for my skin. Let’s get into it.

Do I Need Another Propolis Serum? Iunik Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum Review

Iunik had been in my skincare awareness bubble for a while, but I’d never gotten around to trying anything from them. When they recently reached out I was more than happy to accept a few products for review purposes (see my Policies page for more info on how I work with brands), and this serum in particular caught my eye. I’ve had a bit of a thing for propolis serums since I belatedly joined the Cosrx propolis bandwagon, and even more belatedly the LGH one! Here are my thoughts after around 3-4 weeks of testing Iunik’s version.

JayJun Clean Finish Balm Review

First just let me brag on this deal…I BOUGHT THIS FOR 7000KRW ($7)! I bought it in January with the product having a July expiry date, but still? How it was this cheap, down from like 30, I don’t really understand, but I’m damn happy I bought it on a whim. Here’s why.

Dr Jart NEW Ceramidin Serum & Oil Balm Review

Until a couple of months ago I’d only ever tried a Dr Jart mask, and felt that although nice, it was definitely overpriced. Fast forward to now, and although I still struggle to justify a lot of the prices, I can’t stop thinking about my visits to their store and wishing I could return to check out more of their products. Let’s get into my review of two of their Ceramidin products!
