Seoul Selections- June 3rd

I’m off to Vietnam for the weekend and I am SO excited. This means that I won’t be around to post my week’s favourites at the weekend, so here they are a day early. It’s been a busy one, and these are the products that have been getting me through the past five days.

1.The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue. A student’s parent bought me this as a gift, and I’ve just started using it after doing my Tony Moly Footpeel last weekend. Now I’m into sandals my feet are getting a real beating every day in the city, and this is an amazing rescue. It’s extremely rich, and with the kind of hard dry skin I get on my heels (TMI?) it’s a great option. I apply it liberally at night, then wear socks to bed to help absorption. It’s helping maintain the soft skin that was the result of my foot peel.

2. Themed bandaids! How cute are these? Yeah they probably are meant for kids, but I love them, and I’m in need of them on my heels because of new trainers. Pororo is a Korean kids cartoon, and of course I always go for Hello Kitty too.

3. Biore UV Aquarich Watery Essence. WOW, was my only reaction to my new sunscreen. I’d read about how amazing and light the Biore was for so long, but I didn’t imagine it would absorb so quickly and literally feel like there’s nothing on my skin. It’s incredible, and for my fair skin in this sun, as well as for anti aging purposes, I don’t think I’ll be buying any sunscreen other than this for a long while- it’s 50+SPF and PA++++. I bought it in Japan but I’ll be looking online for replacements as soon as I’m nearly done.

4. The Benefit Stay Don’t Stray is just a small gift box size, but I will definitely be purchasing the large version when this is finished. It is a fantastic eye primer, and keeps eyeshadow firmly in place for the entire day.

5. Last but not least is a lip gloss I keep bringing back into my makeup rotation. It’s the Etude House Kissful Tint Choux in no.4. It’s simply a lovely shade of pink. It isn’t sticky in the slightest and has a pretty, glossy finish. The staying power isn’t fantastic, but it’s easy to top up throughout the day. It’s a solid choice for daytime and work, and I have a feeling it’s a gloss I will keep going back to.

  1. I love the biore sunscreen too! I’m lucky it was the first sunscreen I tried and it works perfect for my skin! I found a rose version on eBay that I’m going to try next!
